Now take it off by hand mate 😂 You can't torque lug nuts down on '3' for anyone reading comments. Not that it's foolish you'd try, they won't come off on '2' half the time so you bump it up. But I've learned by trial and error, if you do more than pulse it on 3 after it's snug you can't break them free by hand even with a breaker/cheater bar on the side of the road hauling 2 jet skis behind your partner hauling a kid and a boat. On the 5th of July at 3am. I snapped 3 ½" bars, 2 sockets, welded contraptions, and ended up using a ⅝" hole saw without the arbor bit to drill out the nuts and save the wheel and studs and stealing a lug from the other 4 wheels to get home 😅

Great video. I did this replacement twice because the first battery was deeply discharged. However the second was also deeply discharged. I have changed the battery as you said. Then I followed all the steps but the battery was just hanging in an endless time of charging. I think it has to do with the age of them. After all the batteries for the ipod touch 4g are over a decade old.

I'm just trying to destroy the data since the phone is dead. What should i remove?

To anybody doing this build, do yourself a favor and remove the "armor" and/or remove the armor and replace the CMOS battery with a nice, QUALITY CMOS battery.

bricked mine. cracked my screen right off when I tried to remove by getting under the bezel. Then broke some connectors (mic and volume) too in the process. Basically I wish I had not even attempted it, and I have been pretty good at repairing phones and other items, but these are very tight and easy to damage during the repair. I wouldn't do it again.

Thank you, I wanted to hang to my S6 and change the battery. Glueing a phone shut to make it water resistant is kinda OK, but forcing to undo the back and the front to change the battery is just unneccessary hard. Atleast the screws are all the same length...

I thought I did pretty well getting the new battery in, but after I hooked it up and tried to turn it on to test it, all I get is vertical patterns on the LCD. I thought I was pretty careful and nothing on the LCD or the cable going to it looks damaged at all, but obviously it's not working. Oh well, it was an interesting exercise nonetheless.

bought a used ipod touch 6th gen knowing that the battery doesn't last more that 8 min. The problem is I don't know if it's the battery the problem or the ipod. (I haven't fixed it yet). I noticed that the problematic battery charges in 10 minutes and in 8 min it's gone. But could it be the ipod's problem??? For a moment as I was using it the battery from wery low became medium loaded

Hello, my phone doesn't turn on and when I connect the charger there are no light going on. The "disaster" happened when a morning I found out that the phone has died after all night connected to the charger. What could be the problem? A part from the motherboard, I see in the video the little "circuit board" that cointains the port for the charger. If I want to resuscitate my phone should I buy the mother board, the circuit board with the electric port or both? What could you suggest me?
